Could I Be Pregnant After Unprotected Intercourse On The Sixth Day Of The Menstrual Cycle Despite Taking A Morning After Pill?
I had unprotected sex six days after my period and then the next day I took a morning after pill. Then two weeks after I had early periods. I think I am pregnant but the pregnancy test says negative but still I have pregnancy symptoms like something stuck on my throat, breasts becoming darker and swollen then little bit painful nipples. Do you think I could be really pregnant, it s a month old.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
6th day of cycle falls in safe zone of menstrual cycle so there is no chance of pregnancy. On the top of that, you have already taken morning after pill so don't worry. You would get your periods about a week after your expected date of menses next month.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
