Could I Be Pregnant Since I Am Having Heavy Bleeding And Clotting With Cramps Even Though On Implant?
I have the implant for two years last six months i have had really light periods now these last 7 days have been a nightmare ao heavy bleeding and big clots at least 4 inches long and horrible pains and cramps what's changed?could i of been pregnant?
HI there thanks for posting your query at HCM To rule out a pregnancy you must first get urinary pregnancy test done. If it is positive , it could be due to contraception failure. Then secondly you must specify what sort of an implant you have got. In some implants intially there are periods of less bleeding followed by very very heavy bleeding as the side effect and abdominal pan For that I suggest that under medical guidance you take a pain relief tablet ang medicine to reduce the blood flow like daflon and tranexemic acid . She will consider changing the method of contraception as per your medical examination Hope you are satisfied Take care
