Could I Get Rid Of Scar Caused By An Injury Using Neosporin While Suffering From MS?
HELLO, DR. GRIEF! I TYPE IN AKK CAPS DUE TO MY EYESIGHT BEING BAD DUE TO M.S. ABOUT,TWO WEEKS AGO A FELL AND CRACKED MY FORHEAD ON MY SHARPS CONTAINER THAT WAS IN MY BATHROOM, I HAVE A SPLIT DIRECTLY BELOW WHERE MY WIDOWS PEEK.ALONG MY HAIRLINE. I HAVE BEEN USING A&D OINTMENT AND NEOSPOIN (SP?) BUT I KNOW I WILL HAVE A SCAR, I WOULD LIKE TO NIP IT IN THIS FRESH TIME. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
I am quite emapthetic to the injury and rest of the your problems.
I can get that it is almost 2 weeks since you have got the injury. You have not told us your age so that an idea regarding healing power could be assessed. If you are a young person then the injury heals faster but if you are in older age goup then you might get delayed healing.
In all cases of injury if an immediate attention is payed then stitching the wound gives best results.
At this time frame of 2 weeks you should try and maintain the good hygiene and do not expose to direct sunlight. Let the scab over the wound falls off by itself.
In my patient with your kind of problem I prefer to prevent secondary infection by application of an antibacterial cream such as mupirocin or fucidin.
All the bst.
