Could I Have Swallowed The Piece Of Chicken Into My Lung ?
Last night I was eating a piece of chicken, and it felt like it went down the wrong way. I don t notice any pain really until I swallow food, and the right side of my chest (upper chest) hurts. Could I have swallowed the piece of chicken into my lung ?

There is a rare possibility of chicken going in lungs.
Usualy Choking, Coughing, No breathing or breathing trouble (respiratory distress), Wheezing develops but however, in some cases, only minor symptoms are seen at first, and the object may be forgotten until later symptoms (inflammation, infection) develop. So consult doctor to confirm the things by examination.
Aspiration of the chicken piece into the lungs is rare in healthy adults. If it were to enter into the lungs you would have developed either choking/ continuous cough and breathing difficulty. There are chances the chicken bone would have traumatized the food pipe and hence the discomfort. If it persists please do consult a good ENT specialist.
