Could I Use Mometasone Fur Coats Cream On An Eczema Like Spot Near My Vagina?
Hi I wore some of my boyfriends shorts to sleep that were freshly cleaned about a week ago. When I woke up I have a rash kind of like eczema around my vagina. I have been diagnosed with eczema a whole ago and have mometasone fur oats cream 0.1% and it has really helped with my eczema in the past. Could I use it on the areas that itch?
You are suffering from contact dermatitis. Avoid wearing clothes other than yours. You have sensitive skin and vagina. Take care of your hygiene. Do not douche or use scented beauty products. You can apply ointment containing, Clobetasol propionate, it will help to reduce the rash and prevent it from spreading.
You can take antihistamine at bed time to reduce itching and allergic reactions. Applying ointment hydrocortisone on the affected area is also helpful. Avoid any type of sexual activity while you are being treated. Give yourself time to heal.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
