Could Ibuprofen Help In Relieving Severe Back Pain And Difficulty In Breathing?
I wake up in the middle of the night with MASSIVE back pain that makes me unable to breathe sometimes. Only after I get up and move around a bit does the pain start to subside. I m highly tolerant of pain ,I have 4 children 2 of which are teenage girls. And I ve been taking g various pain relievers, including Ibuprofen, for 30 years. Could this medication help me?
Ibuprofen is a reasonable first choice for treating most kinds of pain. As long as you do not have any serious cardiovascular, kidney, or stomach ulcer problems, it should be safe to use on a short-term basis.
I typically recommend to use up to 600 mg of Ibuprofen every 4 to 6 hours, not to exceed 3200 mg in 24 hours. If this is not effective, you can also use Tylenol, up to 1 gram every 6 hours, along with the Ibuprofen. Beyond this, you may need stronger pain medication, such as Tramadol, which will need to be prescribed by your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
