Could Lasix Cause Testicular Swelling?

hi my husbands testicle is swollen large and I am wondering why, he is taking Lasix because he has edema in his legs. he also has some wounds on his leg and on his back right at his back bone at the top of his buns of his butt. he takes pain meds for groin pain. he also ha epilepsy. why did it swell so large? one of them was removed when he was in high school from an injury so he has only one testicle. is there a fast way to remove fluid from his body at home?

Thanks for posting your query.

First of all there is no way by which you can remove fluid at home . The only thing that can be done at home is to make him wear tight undergarments so that some fluid goes back into abdominal cavity.

Second : No Lasix will not cause swelling of testes.

Third : We need to do certain tests to know what is the cause of Testicular swelling . It could be due to fluid accumulation, Hernia or swelling arising from testes itself .

In that view I would recommend the following test for him .

Serum Albumin, Serum Creatinine, Ultrasound Scrotum.

Kindly revert back with the reports.
