Could Sarcoidosis Cause Cataract And Glucoma In Eyes?

respected sir, my wife is victim of Sarcoidosis, before 2 years we went to PGI, Chandigarh, they given Wyclone & Betnesol-N steriod. but after 1year & 6 month in one eye cataract & other cataract convert to glucoma. Is it possible due to Sarcoidosis or some other reason. please help us, thanks

It seems from the history that your wife is having cataract and glaucoma. Sarcoidosis can cause these as a complication of uveitis if there is ocular sarcoidosis.
But the steroid drugs are known more commonly to cause this.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.
