Hi,

It is possible that the rash and itching you are experiencing could be a side effect of valsartan. While not everyone who takes this medication will experience side effects, skin rash is a known potential side effect of valsartan.

It is important to note that other factors could also be contributing to your rash and itching, such as changes in your environment, new soaps or detergents, or even a skin condition unrelated to your medication.

I would recommend that you speak with your healthcare provider about your symptoms and discuss the possibility of switching to a different medication. Your provider may also recommend further evaluation or referral to a dermatologist for evaluation and treatment of your skin rash.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
