Could Zocor Trigger Severe Hair Loss While On Metformin As Well?

I have had hair loss for about five years ,some was due to hormones I am on hormone treatment now itvis been better until a different doctor put me on zocor and was wondering if that could have triggered my hair loss I stopped taking it and my hair is thicker again, I have high blood pressure and take a med for that and was very over weight and take a 259 mg of metformin a day, what could be causing the hair loss trigger
