Could A Brown Strand Came Out After A Bowel Movement Be A Worm?
I just went to the rest room and had a bm. After, I took a shower as I was washing a thin brownish, yellowish, orangeish colored strand came out. At first I thought it was the soap but it smells, not like soap. I have not travelled out of the country and my hygiene is good. I was sick to my stomach two weeks ago throwing up. Constipation is kinda the norm for me but I know it is not normal. I put the strand in a plastic baggy and I am worried it is a worm. What should I do?
Hello Thank for asking to HCM I appreciate your query, actually such condition needs to be kept under observation if the symptoms are still there then it may requires investigation, else it may not be worm but it could be fecal material it self, for better confirmation you could send the material for laboratory investigation, but in my opinion just wait and watch, if you find the same thing again then you can discuss this with your doctor, hope this information helps.
