Hi there, I have understood your concern . I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
1 ) First of all do not panic.
2 ) As you have missed your periods, and if you have history of regular cycles then I will suggest you to get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy.
3 ) If the result is negative, then you can simply wait for the onset of periods or induce the periods with Tab Regestrone 5 mg twice a day for 5 days. Usually periods start within 3 to 10 days of finishing the tablets.
4 ) If you are planning for the pregnancy, then I will suggest you to opt for a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen. Start on Folic acid, B 12 and Omega 3 supplements at least 3 months before you plan for the baby.
I hope this answer helps you. Thanks. Dr. Purushottam Neurgaonkar
