I took femilon for 1 year, didn t take it last month and I did not get my periods this month, I am 10 days delayed, also I had unprotected sex last month.pregnancy test was negative on tester, can I still be pregnant? If not why am I not getting my periods?
With a history of unprotected sexual intercourse, delayed period is most likely to be due to pregnancy. However, your pregnancy test is negative. If you had performed urine pregnancy test too early, it can report false negative. Now that your periods are delayed by 10 days, please repeat pregnancy test on an overnight early morning first urine sample. If this test also reports negative, you are not pregnant. Then Take some Progestational pills like Deviry for 5 days. Then within 4-7 days, you should get withdrawal bleeding.
If subsequent menses also you start getting delayed, you may take birth control pills for 3 months to regularise them; however before that a Gynaecologist's consultation is advised.
I hope this helps you.
