Could A Delayed Period Be Due To A Pregnancy?

Hi, I had sex a week ago, but our protection (condom) broke. I was on the 24th day of my cycle and expected to get period on 30 or 31st July. I thought there is very little chance I could get pregnant, but my period has not started yet and although my cycles are usually regular (28days) I had some issues couple of months ago when my period was late over 3 weeks. I did couple of tests then and they came negative, I then got my period. What are the chances I could be pregnant now and what is the earliest I could find out? Please advise

Understand your concern
Yes delayed period is mainly due to pregnancy in sexual active women.
But in your case as you had protected sexual intercourse in safe period of cycle chance of pregnancy is very less.
You can confirm the pregnancy by urine pregnancy, when your period will delay by 8-10 days from your normal period date. Better diagnosis also made by USG or Blood HCG.
If pregnancy will not there, other causes of delay period should be investigated: excessive stress, change in life style and eating habit, ovarian dysfunction, hormonal imbalance, leutal phase defect, thyroid disorder, excessive weight gain or loss.
