Could A Menstrual Delay Be Due To An Impending Pregnancy?

Hi Doctor, I have been taking Diane 35 since last 2 months. I finished the diane35 packet on 24th july (Thursday) and i had sex on next day i.e. 25th july. My periods should start on 28th july i.e. after 3 or 4 days when i finished my diane35 packet. But my periods are not started yet. Does that means there is chance of getting pregnant. If yes then how can i stop it now? Please reply me asap. Thanks

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
Diane if used correctly is a very effective contraception. Moreover you had sex in the pill free week. So there is no possibility of pregnancy.

Occasionally one can miss a period while on contraceptive pills. So you start your next pack as per schedule. If you miss your period after this pack also then you need to be assessed.
Hope this is helpful.
