Could A Persistent Pain Above My Right Breast Associated With Prolonged Computer Use?
For the last three years, I have been on the computer for a minimum seven hours daily. I know the pains that are most commonly associated with prolonged computer use; however, I am concerned about a persistent pain that is about five inches above my right breast. Could this also be associated with my prolonged computer use?
The arms and hands are supplied by nerves from the brachial plexus. These nerves also supply the pectoral region which is above the breast. The pain might be due to excessive computer use with your right arm and hand. This is referred pain and felt to be originating from the perctoral region. The muscles of the shoulder and pectoral region are also used for any computer work using right arm.
Hope this helps
