Could Back, Lower Abdominal And Thigh Pain With Yellow Discharge During Pregnancy Suggest Labor Pain?
Hi. Im currently 37 weeks 2 days pregnant with a bulging bag, 6 cm dilated and 80% effaced. For two days ive been experiencing cramping in my lower abdomen & thighs with back pain and a yellowish clear tinged mucous everytime I wipe myself. Plus my baby is at -1 station. Could I be laboring? And if so what should I do?
I recommend that you please visit your ER urgently as the dilatation was 6 cm and the bag was bulging. This may even be fluid from the ruptured bag as sometimes it is not possible to distinguish if it is amniotic fluid or mucus from wipes alone. Also if the process is going on for 2 days, things may have advanced.
In my practice, I do not send women beyond 4 cm back home as they may go in labor any moment. The protocol may vary at your place. Still it is wiser to visit the ER now.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Wish you a safe and happy delivery and a happy motherhood. Take care.
