Could Bladder Infection With Pregnancy Symptoms Suggest Ectopic Pregnancy?

I have been diagnosed with a bladder infection but I don t think its just that, I have been experiencing many pregnancy symptoms like nausea, breast tenderness, shortness of breath, headaches , bloating ,lower abdomen pain,i have taken 5 home pregnancy test but they all came back negative,is it an ectopic pregnancy and what should I do?

Hello,
Even if it an ectopic pregnancy, you would still test positive for pregnancy. Bladder infection can give you many symptoms mimicking pregnancy, like, absence of periods, nausea, abdominal pain etc. You can get a clarification of the situation by getting a trans-vaginal sonogram done and also an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres for confirmation/exclusion of pregnancy. Thus, an ectopic pregnancy also can be diagnosed. Hope your query has been answered. Take care.
