Could Bleeding In Mouth Be A Sign Of HIV Infection?

Hello ....I have test negative after I took test for hiv after 9 weeks...I had used condom n it s was ok .....it s just the while kissing I test little blood .... I don t have cut or bleed gum....it s was morning time ..I test very little blood ....I m afraid ....I guess it s could be my blood ....

Thank you for query.bleeding in oral cavity can be due to nutritional deficiencies or vitamin deficiencies or periodontitis or else.it is not specific or suggestive of HIV.As your tests are negative and even you had protected intercourse you need not worry.so relax.and take Vitamin supplements (with B and C).get a complete oral examination done.You can get back to me for any clarifications .Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
