Could Breathing Difficulty Be Signs Of Pneumonia?

It feels like there is a bubble in the left side by my lung and it sometimes hurts to breathe. it feels like there is a pocket of air almost on the left side of my lung and it gets harder to breathe and more noticeable when laying down. I just had an allergic reaction last thursday to some medicine and they gave me a steriod to open my lungs up. But, should i get checked to see if this is pnemonia?

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read your query and reviewed it with context to your query facts.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
GERD with Bloated Abdomen.
Dear, the Gastritis caused with / or accompanied with-lung infection lately, has aggravated with steroids over a time lately.
this has caused gastritis with bloating of stomach, which gives you a feeling of Bubble in the lungs.
Don't worry there is no- other causes like - emphysema/ pneumothorax.
But you need to check out with Physician to rule out -hiatal hernia, which may cause similar complaints.
Accompanied IBS with D need to be ruled out also.
Breathing difficulty is from compression of lungs from bloated stomach, compromising on the Lung Volumes and resultant less Ventilation and oxygenation.
CT/X-ray chest / EGD(EsoPhago-Gastro-Duodenoscopy)/Colonoscopy / Bronchoscopy / may be needed to fix the cause of this breathing difficulty.

Hope this would help you to solve your health issues in the best way possible.
Welcome for any further query in this regard.

Good Day!!
