Could Bumps At The Back Of Tongue Be A Result Of Allergies?

I have bumps on the back of my tongue and they are moving up,now i see something in the center of my tongue. my throat is itchy, but i have bad allergies...are the bumps something to be concerned with? and who do I see about it, my dentist or my regular dr.?

It might be important to get them examined. If they developed abruptly, you are experiencing them for the very first time and you have any history of exposure to a milieu or substance you were not used to, its possible this could be an allergy. Regards
