Could Burning Pain In Stomach After Gall Bladder Removal Be Acid Reflux?
I had my gall bladder removed over 3 weeks ago, I havent eaten norman foods for three months prior to the removal of my gall bladder. I tried a hamburger, soda, and fries. Since then I have the burning pains in my stomach, lower back to the top of my buttocks. Is this from acid reflux
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of gall bladder removal over 3 weeks ago, have not eaten normal foods for 3 months prior to the removal of gall bladder, tried hamburger, soda, fries. Since then you have burning pain in stomach, lower back to the top of buttocks. The gall bladder stones and infection is always associated with gastritis or gastric ulcer. Hence it is a routine to give PPI to all patients. Secondly, anyways the fried foods and hamburger like thing will definitely cause more problems and not allowed after gall bladder surgery as the bile is now continuously flowing into the stomach and can flow back to stomach to cause reflux gastritis or so. Pain in the back and the top of the buttocks may not be related to the surgery directly. This may be the local problem and consult your Doctor and if required the Orthopedic Surgeon for clinical evaluation and treatment properly.
