Could Constant Vaginal Itch And Thick Brown Discharge Without Help From Diflucan And Monistat Cream Indicate STD?

I have had a constant vaginal itch and a thick brown discharge for over a month. I contacted my doctor and got a prescription for diflucan. I have also used monistat cream, but nothing seems to help. It will seem better for a couple of days and then come right back. I am married and I am concerned that maybe he has cheated and given me an STD. What do you think?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
What you have described appears to be candidial infection. It requires continuous application of monistat cream for 3-4 weeks for cure. If you stop applying it because of relief, it won't get cured. So please continue to apply it for 3-4 weeks for complete cure. Also get your sugar levels checked, as diabetics are prone for it.
Regards.
