Hello i have been having some problems in the vagina area.I have been having fishy odor down there for a few months now especially after sex with my partner and today i have been having light pink discharge and i just finished my period 2 weeks ago so its not that it also itchs in my labia area and it bleeds easily i am embaressed to go to the doctors so please help me.Another thing that concerns me i have really bad pain under my stomach on my right side i am worried it may be a cyst?
Hi, thank you for the query. With this presentation, I think the problem would either be a condition called pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) or bacterial vaginosis. For the right diagnosis to be arrived at, your complete medical history is needed associated with a physical examination and some tests like blood tests, pelvic ultrasound or CT scan and vaginal swab examination and culture.
