General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. Krimson 35 is a hormonal preparation to correct menstrual disturbances & correct ovulation. A continuous course of the pills for 3 months results in rebound ovulation after the course is over. Having a contraceptive effect, there is no possibility of pregnancy provided you have taken pills regularly at same time in a day./ provided pills were started on 1st day of menses. But if you were not regular in taking pills, you should use blood HCG test for pregnancy. However the pills are not harmful to pregnancy, & in case you are pregnant, leave the pills & consult your doctor for further management. If you are regular taker of pill, there wont be chance of pregnancy, you have to continue the pills at a stretch for 3 months. It will help you to conceive in following months. Thanks.
