Could Delayed Periods With History Of Having Sex Followed By Intake Of Emergency Pills Indicate Pregnancy?

Hello doctor, I had sex with my husband on 10 April and had taken unwanted 72 on 12th -April and my last month periods date was 15th march ,my this month expected date was 13th April but till today 16th April I haven t got my periods. Am I pregnant????

Hello,

No, you can’t be pregnant as you have already taken OCP and there are very fewer chances of conceiving just before a day or 2 before periods. I believe Delayed periods are due to intake of OCP’s as it causes hormonal changes in body.
