Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.
Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query
There are 2 possibilities that come to my mind
1. Diabetic ketoacidosis: this is usually seen in patients who are diabetic and are not on medicines. The pain, vomitting and
nausea point out to something like diabetic ketoacidosis. However, your sugars (120) are too short of the diagnostic values for diabetic ketoacidosis.
That forces me to consider the second probability-
2. Fibromyalgia- in this condition, the fibres of the body are not in order and
therefore cause discomfort and sometimes pain. This is sometimes bad enough to cause nausea and vomitting.
The best way would be to test the things extensively as your doctor may have suggested.
I will suggest the follows- urine ketones,
HbA1C,
lipid profile, complete hemogram, kft and vitamin D
I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.
