Could Dizziness After Stopping Pravastatin With Glucose Level Being 76 Concerning?
I tried to stop pravastatin for about a month and had daily dizziness. I went back on & they stopped. My dr. & I are discussing whether I need to take cholesterol meds....but also she didn t think the dizziness was related to the discontinuation (I do). My glucose (mg/dL) level is 76...I am to stop & retest in a month. What do you think?

Thanks for query.your doc was right dizziness is not due to discontinuation of pravastatin.or I can put it like this Increased blood sugar levels is reported with statin intake.probably you are getting hypoglycemic as dizziness is one of its symptom.though glucose 76mg/DL is not hypoglycemia. Monitor glucose level whenever you feel dizziness.
