Could Dizziness And Pressure In Chest Be Due To Low Blood Pressure?

Hi,I have been getting dizzy when I stand up and have to stand still until it passes.Just had my blood pressure and it's 90/55.I excercise 3-5 times a week but have not for the last few weeks.I'm a 44 year old female,no smoke/drink.I also experienced some pressure in the middle of my chest twice and had the feeling I was really full but had not eaten?

Thanks

Your blood pressure is starting from the low end. That's not necessarily bad but probably explains what you feel on standing. I am usually the cause of these symptoms with the medicines that are used to protect the heart. If you are taking any, be sure to review with your doctor. If not, make sure you take a moment on standing and make sure that you don't miss meals. If you can't eat, be sure to have something like a sports drink or something with electrolytes so that your blood pressure doesnt fall too low.
