Could Dizziness And Vomiting Be Due To Alcohol Or Ingestion?
I drank 1 and a half beer bottle (650 ml + 325 ml) and ate 1 full chicken at around 4 pm thereby making my stomach with a feel of overeat. Thereafter I have tea at 7 pm with light snacks . By this time my dizziness of beer was completely over and i was feeling ok but by belly was tight. At night I ate my dinner at 9.30 pm again some heavy stuff of chicken. There after i drove for about 35 miles with my belt on and with a feel of tight belly and overeaten food. While I was approaching my home I felt that I should vomit out so that i could feel light. I vomited and it consit of mainly chicken uncooked pieces. My question is this vomiting occurs because of drinking beer or because of overeating chicken ?
Thanks for your detailed history. The vomiting possibly occurred due to both the factors combined together. Lots of bear can certainly cause gastritis thereby instigating vomiting in some people. Additional over-eating of chicken which is usually spicy causes the burden to increase causing fullness and so on. Vomiting is the body's reaction that it feels can cause harm and hence is vomited out. Vomiting containing pieces of chicken indicate that there was incomplete digestion and most of it remained in stomach itself hence the pieces. See how you feel after the vomiting. Take antacid and Pantoprazole. Plenty of oral fluids. If the vomiting persists and/or accompanied with loose stools or so can indicate towards possible intestinal infection needing to see a Doctor.
Take care.
