Could Dizziness Be A Side Effect Of Cellcept?

I have been diagnosed with polymyositis and secondary shortens syndrome with early signs of interstitial lung disease. I am currently on 40 mg of Prednisone and for the last month been on Cellcept. My current dosage is 1500 mg twice daily. I have noticed more dizziness in the last week. Could this be from the Cellcept?

Hi,

It seems a bit random that a side effect would occur long after starting a drug. On the other hand, immunosuppressants lower immunity. One can get an infection or brain infection due to not having protection from infection. Neck stiffness, confusion, fever, chills, sweats would be alarming signs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman
