Could Eating Raw Carrot And Beet Root Effect Health?

Hi,I m Titas from India. Me and my husband daily drink carrot beet root and apple juice, with which the effects on our body is quite beneficial. Our skin tone changed to blemish free, we feel energetic and fresh and moreover i had menstrual problem which is resolving gradually.However, yesterday we heard a doctor said on TV that eating raw carrot and beetroot may give birth to a larva in our nerves that could harm our health. and I m worried. If you kindly suggest what to do, it will be helpful for us.
