Could Excessive White Vaginal Discharge Indicate Chlamydia?

hi,my boyfriend before had complain to me about pain when urning,and puss from his penis,but all happened to me was a bad smell at times from my vagina and excessive white discharge,then now my present boyfriends says that he his basically having the same problem,and still at time i have a bad discharge smell.i was looking up on s.t.d's and the closes one was chlamydia.what do you think it could be? and how long it takes to get treated and is it expensive to treat.this going on for about a year,what damages do you think have been done already? jody

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Treatment is usually approached with antibiotic coverage (e.g. azithromycin or doxycycline). I do not think any damage would have occured other than you transmitting the infection to your partners. My first advise would be to avoid sexual contact in all forms please. The second would be to visit a doctors clinic for immediate diagnosis and initiation of treatment.
