Could Fever, Abdominal Pain And Vomiting Be Due To Appendicitis?
my son, age 4 1/2, 44 inches, 44 lbs has suffered from 2 bouts of fever and abominal pain in the last 6 weeks. Both times he had a fever of 102 and complained of belly pain, nausea and vomiting. each time it resolved itself within 24 hours of onset. Could this be appendicitis?

Hi, appendicitis is unlikely as in appendicitis the pain in abdomen will be very severe and it doesn't occurs after 6 week period. I suggest you to do an ultrasound whole abdomen to confirm the diagnosis. Take care.
