Could Frequent Heartburn, Swollen Stomach And Throat, Acid Reflux With Vomiting, Headache And Deep Cough Be GERD?

I think I have GERD. I frequently have heartburn and the upper portion of my stomach swells with everything I eat except raw steak with vinegar. The past few days I had terrible acid reflux, swollen throat, and a bloating gas. Everything I ate resulted in me burping up vomit and burning my throat in process. Now my heart burn is gone thanks to ranitidine 150mg, but I woke with a terrible sore throat and highly viscous green mucus in my lungs. I feel extremely weak, shaky, dizzy, light-headed, with migraine-like headaches. I have a deep cough that hurts the middle to lower part of my chest, and of course my throat. It almost feels like the flu. What do you think?

this sounds like severe reflux. you could switch to a stronger medication called omeprazole if ranitidine is not working. you will have to take it daily for 4-6 weeks. also avoid spicy and fried food and missing meals
