Could Green And Yellow Sticky Mucus In Stool Be Caused By Fungal Infection?

I have been treated for Thrush recently W/ Nystatin Oral Susp. Also Fluconazole for athletes foot and skin sores which I have suspected to be fungal related for `10yrs. I am now having green & yellow sticky mucus in my stool and did have greeg stool as well. Should I be concerned that the fungal infection is in my blood, stomach etc.

Hi thanks for asking question.
You can first have to examine your stool.
If pus cells present then chances of bacterial enteritis is present.
It will also reveal parasite egg if present especially amebiasis.
This yellow sticky mucus also can be because of excess fat intake daily.
Finally some people can have lactose intolerance or hypersensitivity to gluten.
Gluten present in rye, wheat etc while lactose in milk and cheese like food.so they can be avoided if allergy to that and having mal absorption.
Stool culture also can be done to rule out fungal infection.but fungal infection of intestine should be thought at last after filling out other above causes.
I hope I have solve your query
