Could Having Nutritional Supplements Along With Cytomid Cause Any Health Concerns?
Further to my dermatologists prescription i have started taking Cytomid since Aug 04,2014.I remembered I had not mentioned that I also take the following nutrition supplements:L-Carnitine Vitamin C tablets Omega 3 capsules Further, since the last few days I have started taking Dandelion tea (1.5 litres daily) for getting rid of water retention.Just wanted to make sure that this wont cause any issue / be of concern while having Cytomid.Shall await your response. Thanks!
Cytomid is Flutamide which is an antiandrogen. It blocks the activity of testosterone, a hormone produced by the body. There is no harm in taking the supplements you have mentioned. There may be interaction with supplements that have plant hormones and used in treatment of menstrual disorders etc. Wish you good health. Dr. Noble Zachariah
