Could Having Unprotected Sex While Taking Meprate 0.07 Mg Cause Pregnancy?

hello sir.Last month july 18 was my periods and i consulted doctor for prepontment of my mariiage .so doctor prescribed me Meprate 0.07mg for 22 days,accidentally myself and my partner had sex for first time on august 5 and i was having tablet..now tablet has been over still periods havent come up..so say me whether i am pregnant?

HI,
I understand your concern.
You had menses on 18th of July,your ovulation would be 14 days prior the expected day of periods .. yhat comes to be 4th of August...You had sex in fertile days.
Now if you had started pills after ovulation, there is chance of pregnancy.BUT.. in case you started pills before ovulation day.. contraceptive effect of Meprate will not allow pregnancy.
Normally bleeding starts within 8 days of stopping the pills. So you should watch for period to come. If it dies not go for UPT to diagnose pregnancy. Meprate being progesteron like preparation.. it does not harm pregnancy, rather it helps pregnancy.
