I have recently removed a wall and flooring that contained mostly black mold the whole thing was rotten and looked like spiderwebs I now have a tickle in my throat and a cough that sometimes makes me cough so much I vomit and have trouble catching my breath could this b black mold poisoning
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood your history that you have recently removed the wall and flooring that contained black mold. Molds and mildews are know to cause severe allergic reaction particularly in the respiratory tract. The problem you have of trouble in breathing, tickling in throat and cough is most probably due to the mold you removed.
I would advise in such a situation the following: Consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation and examination and tests of blood or so. Get a prescription of proper antihistamine and steroids if needed. You may also need a bronchodialator if there is wheezing on examination. Avoid exposure to molds and mildews now and later too. Take care. Wishing you an early and permanent cure.
