Could Heart Burn And Appetite After Having Food Be Due To Hormonal Imbalance?
I am a 24 year old female...I've been really worried latrly because sometimes after I eat I still feel very hungry, my periods are not normal, I don't know if its a hormone thing bbut it really worries me. And sometimes I also get really bad heartburn...but what worries me is the fact that even tho I just ate I still feel hungry...please help me..its really tough for me to go see a doctor because I don't have health insurance, and I want to know if its something I should go to the hospital for.
Usually, pain after eating food is due to gastric ulcers. Other possible causes are: 1. Dyspepsia 2. Gastric ulcers 3. Food Intolerance 4. Lactose intolerance 5. Irritable Bowel Syndrome etcetera
Avoid spicy food, alcohol, and caffeinated drinks. Take a high fiber diet. Use tablet Nexium before breakfast for one week. If symptoms not improved, please consult your gastroenterologist, he will do the upper GI scope and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
