Could Heavy Bleeding With Cramping Be Due To Miscarriage Or Hormonal Changes?
Hi I am 31 yrs old. My question is this... on August 12 I started my period. It was on time since my July period was on the 18. Anyway my period that started on August 12 lasted about 2 1/2- 3 days. Then I started again on August 31. This period is a lot heavier than the earlier one in August and the cramps I feel are more intense than any I can remember. I took medication for the cramps but they did not go away but eased up somewhat. This is my third day of heavy bleeding and cramps. Could this be a miscarriage hormonal changes hormonal imbalance or what
In the current scenario, if you are sexually active without any contraceptive use, you have to exclude pregnancy. It should be done through the blood test since urine test may not be useful. If negative, hormone imbalance is the most likely cause. Infections, stress, sudden weight changes and use of certain medications may also cause such disturbances. You can plan further management after a proper clinical evaluation. Take care.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
