Could Hormonal Changes Cause Tender Breasts To Become Harder Gradually?
I have been on the depo injection for a year, I then changed from the depo injection to levlen ed and have currently been taking levlen for 4 weeks. For the past week and a half I have had extremely tender breasts that are becoming harder. This could obviously be pregnancy but I am not due for my period yet so I am unable to take an accurate test. Could this also be due to hormone changes?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Tenderness in breast is mostly due to hormonal changes. If you have cyclic changes in breast with tenderness and hardness then you may have fibroadenosis. You should wait for some times. If it becomes clear then its good. If it remains persistent then you need examination. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
