Hi , lately I have been having what I call a tendonitis in my right arm, slight pain in certain positions and a kind of tiredness, I feel the arm and hand but... meanwhile hypermetropia has increased significantly, could these be an early symptom of MS or ALS? Thank you in advance for your reply
Dear friend, neither MS nor ALS present with tendonitis or ocular refractive error. Both of them are neurological disease and they present with varied neurological manifestations. You can check in net regarding the various diagnostic criteria for MS/ALS.Your symptoms are non specific and they can be due to many things.Tell me your age and sex and other relevant history. If you are having significant tiredness then it's better to at least exclude Anaemia, Diabetes, Thyroid diasease, Depression, Sleep disorders. Thousands of diseases can present with non specific symptoms. But the rationality lies in excluding the common possibilities first and that's also after a detailed history analysis and physical evaluation.Good luck.
