OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
Please do not worry about pregnancy, it is not possible during a period. The discharge you have been observing could be due to the tapering period and should disappear within a couple of days. There is a possibility of contracting infection if intercourse happens during menstruation as the vessels are open during that period and it is easy for any infection to enter the body. Please maintain genital hygiene and see a specialist if your spotting does not subside or if you do not see your period next cycle. Hope this helps.

OB & GYN Specialist Dr. Richa Agarwal's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
The chances of pregnancy are rare in your case.
You should consult a gynaecologist for ultrasonography to rule out the cause.
Good luck.

Dr. Richa
