Could I Be Pregnant With The Feeling Of Wanting To Throw Up After Sex When On Depo Privera Shot?

I have been on the depo privera shot for three years i recently stooped it because of the weight gain i have been off it for a month now and i have had intercourse not long after i am now feeling like i want to throw up constantly but i never do. Could that be a sign i am pregnant even though i don't have my period?

Hi,
You will not feel the signs and symptoms of pregnancy immediately after conception. If you happen to be recording the basal body temperature from day one of the cycle, you can notice a mid-cycle rise and this continues if conception has occurred. This is the only way to detect a pregnancy early on. You can get a pregnancy confirmation through blood test two weeks after the intercourse or three weeks later through the urine test. You can conceive even without attaining your period, but, not too soon after withdrawing from the depo shot. Hope this helps.
