Could Intake Of Lower Dose Of Pyzinal For Thickened Pleural Effusion Cause Problems?
Detected :Thickened Pleural effusion (appox 1000 ml) with tubercolin cells? Doctor had advised me combutol 1000; pyzina1500(750*2); R cinex 600 for 20 days....but due to some misunderstanding I had taken pyzina 750 ; combutol 1000 and R cinex 600 for 20 days. I have a doubt that if their would be any problem arise due to consumption of less doses of pyzina.....plz advice regards Navneet
Hi, Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. As per your history indicates these are anti TB treatment ,please tell your doctor that if pleural effusion is due to tuberculosis which is confirmed by clinical ,culture of fluids , so treatment should be given for primary disease as full course and not for 20 days only as per present guidelines.
