Could Intake Of Restil Cause Dizziness And Imbalance In Body?

Dear docor my wife suffering from parkinson last one year now she took medicines like syndopa plus, selgin 5mg,pacitine 2mg,doth 25mg, clopivas 75 mg. now she not sleep properly and doctor advised take one restil .25 . after take this medicine she have some unconforts like head rounding unbalancing etc. pls advise this the side effect from restil .25

Restyl 0.25 mg contains alprazolam which belongs to the group of medications known as benzodiazepines is a prescription medication used to treat anxiety. It alters brain activity, calms it and provides relief from panic attacks by relaxing the nerves. It may cause dizziness, loss of balance, vertigo as its side effects. Other side effects of this medication are changes in pattern of speech, unsteadiness, loss of coordination, drowsiness, abdominal pain, blurred vision, painful urination, headache, chest pain, sleepless, irregular menstrual cycles, changes in body weight, double vision, sudden sweating, heart burn, indigestion, allergic reactions etc. If these side effects for long or bother you, you should consult with your doctor promptly for medical attention. Do not discontinue this medication without consulting your doctor. Despite having the side effects, you should finish your full course of treatment, because most of side effects will go away with the passing.
