Could Light Colored Blood In Urine During Periods Be UTI?

I am 16 years old. I just had my period and usually it doesn't last but 2 days. However, every time I go pee, after I wipe I see very light colored blood. I thought I was still my period but their isn't any blood on my panty liner. Just when I pee. Is it my period or a uti?

Hi

Urinary tract infections could be the possible cause.Complete urine analysis should be done to identify the cause of hematuria. Any history of fever, renal stones should be ruled out.Antibiotics should be used based on urine culture and sensitivity.

Renal function tests and KUB ultrasound may be required for further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
