Could Loose Motion Be Due To Nerve Damage Or Taking Miralax Tablets?

Hello, I have severe nerve root compression L5 and s1 and also a huge paracentral disc hernia in c5-6. I woke up to a small amount of loose stools on my bed sheet. I am also on miralax. So I am wondering which one is the culprit....miralax or my nerve damage?
