Could Lower Back Pain And High Sugar Levels Be Due To Invokana Tablets?
I ve been taking Invokana 300 for about a week now and have lower back pain. I ve lost 8 pounds so far and my blood sugar has gone from 230s fasting to 110s fasting. I don t want to drop this drug because it seems to be working great, but I read somewhere that back pain is a bad side effect. I know this drug is very new and I don t want to blow out my kidneys or cause some kind of irreversible damage. What s your take on this back pain? It s not severe, just a dull achy kind of pain in my lower spine.

invokana is newer anti diabetic drug which acts through the excreation of glucose in urine. it can cause volume depletion. and urinary tract infections
it can also cause weight reduction. till now there were no reports suggesting invokana causes backache. but if already have some renal disease it can aggrevate the disease
